The nexus of thinking applied for
exploring opportunities, solving problems
and achieving organisational outcomes.
Bringing together Strategic, Design and Lean Thinking (and doing) methodologies together provides the organisation an optimal harmonisation between traditional and new ways of developing and delivering its strategy, harnessing the journey and outcome, as well as exploring alternate opportunities or solving problems.
This combination offers the ability to explore, create, test and learn and then design and deliver the right thing.
Many organisations lose the intent of the strategy when it is handed over to the business or transformation teams for design and delivery. This process prevents that and creates a single continuum thread connecting the strategic pillars to delivery and adoption, all of which has the customer at the centre and has been co-designed with them.
These methodologies embody Systems, Strategic, Critical and Creative Thinking.
Each of these methods has a variety of tools and canvases from which we draw upon to translate and achieve the right outcome, whatever the stage. The most important aspect of this process is full customer immersion and co-design between the customer and the organisation.
Qualitative interviews - the opportunity to understand the why - the most powerful and rewarding part of this process.
Brainstorming, ideation and co-design - creative exploring
Behavioural Archetypes - this is the traversing of behavioural economics - who is going to adopt and what are the levers that make the adopt. This is a powerful tool above segmentation and personas - which do have a place in this process.
DVF - Desirable to the customer / employee, commercial Viable for the business, and Feasible to deliver through the full stack of the organisation, and finally Compliant and Sustainable.
Customer Journey / Service Blueprint
Horizon Roadmap - what to deliver when and why
And more.
The same approach is used for exploring and solving problems. Often, organisations do not have enough or the right resources available to explore, identify, and solve problems.
Working with you
When we undertake a project with you, we are onsite in a war room. Whereby we develop the “common brain” - where every artefact to the project lives.
We generally host a daily Kanban whereby the core team will go through the activities planned. Then a fortnightly showcase for all key stakeholders to the project. This ensures that your business goes on the journey, the intellectually property is passed on and everyone understands why we did what we did so when we leave there is no confusion.
